CreteLatex is a polymer-based liquid that is added to cementitious mixtures such as screeds, mortar, plaster, and concrete to improve their properties. It is formulated to enhance adhesion, increase tensile strength, flexibility, and durability, and reduce the permeability of the mixture, making it an essential product for a variety of construction applications.
CreteLatex is an indispensable additive for several applications in construction and renovation. Here are some of the most common uses of CreteLatex:
Using CreteLatex is simple and straightforward, but it’s essential to follow the correct mixing and application guidelines to achieve desired results: Surface Preparation Clean the surface thoroughly by removing all dust particles, grease or oil. Make sure that the substrate is dry and has no abrasive particles on it.
Mixing:
For mortar, screed or plaster, refer to the recommended ratio mix CreteLatex with cement and sand as desired. For the use of CreteLatex as adhesive or bonding, the manufacturers recommend following the instructions given by the technical staff of the CreteStone Company.
Application:
Next, using the fitting equipment (trowel, brush or a roller) spread the mixture on the substrate. Make sure to include it in the coverage and while applying do so in the right manner in order to minimize on formation of air bubbles or uneven layer.
Curing & Drying:
Afterwards, let the applied material to dry as provided by the manufacturer on the instructions. Normally, this takes 24-48 hours for the surface to be hardened to take the abuse that the environment or water will give it.
